Im Zuge der Recherche wird auch gleich das Potential f\u00fcr ein eigenes Patent ausgelotet. \u201eGeistiges Eigentum braucht Schutz. Der Abfluss von Knowhow ist eine schmerzliche Erfahrung, die man einfach vermeiden kann. Mit dem Patent Scan unterst\u00fctzen wir Studierende an der Schwelle zum Berufsleben in dieser wichtigen Frage und sch\u00e4rfen das Bewusstsein f\u00fcr das Thema Patentschutz\u201c, so Infrastrukturminister J\u00f6rg Leichtfried. Ab dem Wintersemester 2016 werden 200 Studierende von sechs Universit\u00e4ten davon profitieren.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Patentamtspr\u00e4sidentin Mariana Karepova: \u201eDie jungen Technikerinnen und Techniker an unseren Unis sprudeln vor Ideen. Vielleicht sind sie schon in ihren Abschlussarbeiten einem zuk\u00fcnftigen Patent auf der Spur. Sie sollten deshalb besser heute als morgen \u00fcber Erfindungsschutz Bescheid wissen. Mit unserem Patent Scan liefern wir \u201aYoung Professionals\u2018 Material zum \u201aPimpen\u2018 ihrer Abschlussarbeiten. Immerhin verf\u00fcgen die internationalen Datenbanken \u00fcber 100 Millionen Patentdokumente \u2013 grob gesch\u00e4tzt sind das ca. 70 Prozent aller technischen Informationen weltweit.
